Floods in Iowa



Well the weather is so stange everywhere...we live close to the Iowa River and it's out of it's bank...this is a field that is next to our house...well it usually is a field...looks like we have lake front property at this point...one of the roads leading to our house has water over it...good thing there is another way to town...oh my

Goodness gracious Sherry ... sure hope it doesn't get too close ... we are certainly having the strangest weather all over ... sure don't know what happened to the "beautiful one day & perfect the next" weather we used to get ...

Wow - it really does look like a lake! Glad to hear it went down. But if not you could have seeded it with baby trout and gone fishing later this summer!

get the farm onto the market - advertise as Lake frontage and I bet it will sell quick smart - well this is me looking at silver linings- is this just from the snow melt??

heavens I am having a prob getting a blog entry left here- anyway I would advertise the farm quick smart as being lake frontage- bet it would sell real quick- silver lining and all that gggg - looks pretty- have you ever been known to go under water and is this from the snow melting??

We have had some of that here too, the grand river here in GR is really high and the homes along the waterfront are sitting in it. Glad I'm on a hill!!
