Update on Jacque's treetop experience

Well I go the mask from mom today...and she hadn't sanded it bummer...she said...sand sand sand...ewww...but I did use the electric sander for some...then did the hand sanding...I now have a head on the body...it's surpose to take days to dry...hummm i put it in the over on 200 degrees...I remember why I use polymer clay...however...I now need to wait til tomorrow sand one more time and then I get to sculpt hair with paperclay...something tells me that at this point it will be a slow process...teehee but we shall see...check back and see if I burn the body rofl....OH MY

I finished the lil bag

I finished the crochet felted lil bag...yipppeee what fun...I need to get more colors of wool yarn...so here it is

Crochet felted roses

I am trying some crochet pieces and felting them...what fun...I did this eyeglass case and the roses...I'm gonna get some better colors for the roses as I think they will be great in my etsy store, as they are perfect for pins...for purses and hats....plus I need to take some better pictures of them...and I can't wait to embellish the little bag more more more teeheee

sharing my experience

Funny how things are...I lost my treetop angel in the fire this summer and since I forced Jacque (for those who don't know she is my mom) to rerun the treetop angel class...the original from that class was mine...anyway I decided I would make one in class also...wellllll funny...for those who don't know I taught Jacque to make dolls...sooooo when we used to work side by side she made dolls just as I did...and I love where her dolls have gone and have begged several off of her...but realized when i was putting the class up, just how much she has grown...she no longer makes dolls like me...rofl...and truly I was very impressed with all that there was to learn in the class...now I'm the first to tell you she is the paperclay QUEEN...she can do stuff that amazes me with it...but this class has more then just that...wohooo so I will be sharing my adventure of making this dolls...first of all I have never sewn one of her patterns...(well I have sewn many of any ones patterns for that matter) it just gave me a giggle, so stay tuned to the adventure...
