She has hair...I'm so excited...now to set back and figure out her costuming...

Where does the days go...

Well I missed last week photos of the week...between everyone being sick and zoning on a new piece...Jean and I are working on a new online class it will be 4 classes to complete the entire piece...my doll is cloth with mask...she is needled sculpted then added paperclay over the cloth here and there to give her a nice finish...can you feel the music...that is the first hint on what jean might be doing...and here is the doll 16" and still needs hair...

Butterscotch finished

Well Chelsea stopped by walmart before coming out and got my machine needles wohooo so Butterscotch has her clothing...all I need to do is her wings tomorrow and her cookies and finish writing up the pattern...wohooo

she is coming along...was already to sew her dress and my machine needle broke...don't you know they are all at the farm...grrr so will have to wait til tomorrow to go to town...darn...but here she is so far...

I'm not truffles....

Well I thought I was making Jelly Bean's best friend Truffles...but this is not her...lol I'm not sure who she is just yet...but she is the next in line for my new series of fairy patterns...yes a bunny fairy...what sweet treat do you think she is?

One day class for ODACA Days...

I am going to teach this sweet vignette for a class in Atlanta at ODACA days...thought it might be good for collectors who would like to set one of their favorite fairies on or for artist to make to go with one of their small creations...

THEY DID IT...wohoo

Our wood burning furnace is in...yippeee and I'm working on a piece of wall art, it's the first time i have worked on canvas with watercolor pencils...all tho now I'm adding MORE

Today's photo...amazing

To many this photo may not seem like such a big deal...but to us this is leaps it's our wood burning furnace and this was the hard part...they will cut the hole in the ceiling tomorrow and finish the pipe and we will be in business...wohooo the boys are so proud....

WEll I missed doing photo of the day yesterday...I realized at 1am sooooooo I am gonna post early...I decided to venture out and see what was out in the cold white world...not much but cold and white however I did notice that the wind had blown and the icicles froze kind of wild...amazing I do have to say

she stands 18" tall and such a sweetie she is...has a flat face with instructions on how to color it with watercolor pencils....she has little pointed ears and painted leggings and is dressed in the illusion of costuming....she is perfect for all levels of dollmakers...comes with both individual finger pattern and mitts....she has needle sculpted toes and oh my her feet are on the larger side but that only helps her stand better...she has one little problem...every thing she touches turns to confections...OH MY....and of course the pattern tells the secrets of how to create her sweet treats from fabric...her wings are wired so that they can be posed...she is the perfect addition to every collection....pattern retails for 10.00 can be ordered from http://www.dollmakersjourney.com or http://www.clothdollpatterns.com
