look who's riding in the balloon

well i'm coming along on the little one who will ride in the balloon and he has a pet snail...

I'm getting excited...

Here is an update of the teapot hot air balloon...what fun this piece has been...I still need to do a bit more to it then make the critter who will ride in it...

Well i'm getting close to having the top part finished...then I will work on the basket and of course paint the whole thing...attach the two parts together...then make the little one to ride...

well i do believe i'm obessing...wohooo and have a great time...so far this is where the teapot has gone...oh my...and I still much more to go...

My Muse has returned OH MY

Well my muse has returned...however I'm giggling as it's certainly not the old one...
I started out drafting a teapot doll pattern...so I wanted to test the pattern to make sure the doll would work...I got the teapot sewn of light weight canvas and gessoed...and oh my the Muse arrived and took me where...I at first said...oh my not very Sherry ...but then again maybe VERY sherry...so if you want to follow along on my new journey I will post pics as the piece comes along...my brain is spinning faster then the dang stuff will dry...it's cloth, plaster cloth and paper mache so far...stay tuned...or this will be my first Ooak of the New Year

Coming back to life...

I seem to be coming from the fog...I worked on a Clothing round robin piece today...yippeee something else finished...there is hope...I added a pocket and some painted dodads...

Mid Jan already...OH MY

It's hard to believe that it's mid Jan already...I am still very slow moving...all tho make sure to check out the May issue of Doll Crafter and Costuming as mom and I did a piece for them...so far this year that is about all I've done...Jeff got mom/dad's ceiling fixed from the ice problems...and now I'm sort of embracing the winter...I have a list of things to do and they don't seem to be getting done...OH MY
just wanted to check in to say hello to all and let you know...I got those winter time blues I do believe...

Happy New Year to all...
Wow it's been a wild couple of weeks...I haven't done anything creative and I'm itching to get some new things done...I'm working on a doll with mom for Doll Crafter and the deadline is looming...once that is finished I will get to do something totally new and I have a few ideas working...also the Jess in the box class started but I put it on holiday...but class will resume on Monday the 7Th...so it's not to late to sign up for that either...
