I just got home...

I just got home from "Quilt til you wilt"...my MIL Connie invited me to go for a 3 day quilter's retreat...what fun...since I don't quilt rofl it was an adventure....I did however finish my very first quilt...and I did a quilt block like all the girls...they gave us the pattern and the leaf fabric...we then added a color and back groudn and I did it...wohooo and then of course they draw a name and someone wins all the blocks...what fun...NO I didn't win rofl...and then I made two of mom's angel's of stress and keeper of chocolate...and one was for sale and one for a door prize which I made her with a button face instead of clay...the girls went nuts over them...I got orders for finished one but no patterns sold...rofl...but I got lots of orders for them...teheee OH MY

Look at you! All your points match on the block and everything - you've been hiding some sewing skills from us!!!! Love the little chocolate keepers - too cute! Welcome home and I want to go next time too, LOL. I think I'll just have to move to Iowa.
