A Fire...oh my

well does it ever get calm...today matt went out to burn the trash he was surpose to put it in the burn barrell wellllllll he put it on the burn pile...and it caught the shed farthest from the house on fire...well not just on fire but he and i were watching pretty woman and jeff in town and it burnned DOWN...it could have been worse as jeff got home and screamed and they put out all fires that were going other places...i'm sick...I know it wasn't windy but it's so dry...I lost all my christmas stuff, tree ornaments everything lots of boxes of dolls, crystal, blue willow china and god knows what else...that was my main storage for MY stuff...I am grateful nobody was hurt and all is well with the house...what amazes me most is this all happened in about one hours...OH MY

Sherry the corn looks scorched too , did it do much damage to the crop? Good thing it was green..

My heavens, it's nothing but a pile of ashes! Whew! I'm glad it didn't spread any further. I hate that you lost so many irreplaceable things, though. I'm so sorry, sweetie.

Sherry, I'm SO sorry for your losses -- how scary it must have been! As has been said many times already, I'm just glad nobody was hurt. But oh! what was lost... it's heartbreaking, and I'm thinking of you.

To say I'm sorry seems very inadequate, but I truly AM, Sherry! From the pictures, I would have to say with everyone else that you are so lucky that fire didn't spread. Thank goodness no one was injured! Sad as it is to lose things, it's still not as bad as it could have been. I just love you so much & my heart cries for you!

Oh Sherry, How frightening. I see dead grass...that fire could have spread and got everything within miles. I'm glad that was a green field of corn behind it. Sounds like Jeff showed up just in time. So, sorry you lost so much.

Flashback for me...years ago a storage shed burned on our property and I can emphasize with the pit in your stomach and the sense of loss. Very traumatic for you and your family.

Sherry,
So sorry to read about your fire, and to see the devastation in the pictures. Thank God no one was injured. Fires are very frightening, I lived through one as a child. You don't forget them.
Love to you, Belinda
