Snowman is finished...

Well jeff found the can snow for me, so I have finished the snowman...wohooo

Not much more on Snowman

We went to Jeff's dad's Christmas party last night...we took Rhi and Scarlett...what fun...so I didn't have time to work on Shane/Shaybree's snowman...so after we took the girls home and we settled in I started working on it...this is a good thing since it gave it time to dry...teehee...I have a few more hours work on it and it will be finished...yipppeeee....

Snowman beginnings

Well i've started on the snowman for Shaybree/Shane...oh my papermache, plaster cloth and more teeheee fun fun

Yippeee Spongebobs are finished...

Okey dokey...I have now finished the spongebob's and they are in their bags under the tree...yippeee...so here they are...now on to the next project teehee

Almost finished...OH MY

Well I need to do sleeves...sew tops of their heads closed...paint legs/shoes and put little white sleeves on the upper arms...I laughed so hard as mom said they looked really big...I looked on the package the pillows came in...no wonder they are queen size pillows...OH MY

also Bernie (Plushie by Judi W) thought I should send a pic with him and his new buddies...

well one has legs...they need to be painted...and then I need to stitch the top up and put on his arms...I have all parts sewn...now to go stuff the other legs...OH MY Gpa Jeff is holding on to him so he doesn't run away now that he has legs...teehee

Woohooo over the hard part of the adventure...

Okay...I have turnned them right side out to measure for arms and legs...I'm on the down swing now...this is the simple part...yipppeee...

The Adventure cont....

Well I'm working on both Sponge bobs at the same time basically...so I just finished attaching the face on one except for the eyelashes...then I will be doing the face on the 2ND one...wooohooo nothing like being in the sponge bob zone...teehee

Being a Gma or the Adventures of Sponge Bob

Well my granddaughters are 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 and they adore sponge bob....soooooooo being who I am...I decide that they needed a sponge plushie each (aw yes with their name on the back tehee)...not just any ol one but one the size of a bed pillow...this way they can snuggle up to him and watch him on DVD...so I thought you might like to share the experience or Adventure of Sponge Bob with me...gotta love being a Gma OH MY...teehee I have now downloaded pictures...had Jeff go to Walmart for the felts that I didn't have (isnt that always the way it is) and I have cut all parts out for the body...legs and arms will come later...that's the easy parts out....soooooooooooo here is the beginning....

Nan has a new friend meet Bernie

Judi W does the cutest plushies and Bernie arrived and has joined Nana on my side of the couch...also i'm making more of the paper button dolls...oh my they are addictive and also here is a picture of my side of the couch...I need to get candles for my Christmas candle holder...

New lil dolls

I met an artist name xenia schmidt one etsy....her etsy name is xeniaschmidt
she is from Germany and now is going to school for art in San Franscio...and she had never mades dolls and when i saw her work I told her what wonderful dolls she could make...well we decided to give a few a try...she made 10 faces...and I will make them into simple little dolls...then she will get 5 back for her etsy store and I will have 5 for mine...well I might need one and a giftie or two...teehee but I think they are delightful and I'm gonna teach her to make them as they are so easy and I think she would have fun...

Decorating the tree

WEll we got the tree decorated and it's beautiful...I took pictures but only one is okay...but I am going to read my camera book as I am sure there is a setting that will work perfect...I am so excited and want each of you to see what you have done by sending the ornaments, tree and decorations...I will decorate the house tomorrow...again THANK YOU...

Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving...I know we did...we went to mom/dad's on wed afternoon...it had snowed and sort of started the spirit of the holiday season...i took a few pic but didn't get many...

Rhiannon's first school program

Rhi goes to preschool two days a week and today they had their program...it was so cute...it was all of about 15 min...I laughed so hard...she was just a wiggling and singing...

more turkey time

Well this was Friday night...it took Jeff 6 hours to get all the birds injected with marinate...the turkey fry and dance was a great success...yipppeeee now I'm worn out...awww but it's over for a whole year....

Gifts from my wonderful friends

Well as many of you know we had a fire this summer that destroyed all our Christmas decorations...well I have been amazed, thrilled, and touched by the "gifts" that my dollmaking friends have sent me...first many went together and sent us a tree...yes there will be pictures when it's decorated...as if that isn't enough...Kerry sent me a mini tree to replace the one she had so graciously given to me several years ago, eggie sent me a whole box of Christmas goodies and Sue sent me the wonderful tree I posted on a couple of weeks ago, mom of course beaded my treetop and gave me a gnome ornament...and still packages keep coming in...here are ornaments with the givers name on them...there are no words to say how wonderful this has made me feel...a time I thought I would dread I'm truly excited to decorate...thank you each and everyone of you and truly these will be cherished...
