Valentine memories....

Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday...not sure why...could it be the pinks, red, white, lace and hearts...however as a child one of my most favorite memories is every Valentines Day in elementary school we were to bring valentines for our friends and a box with a hole cut in the top to receive was something that mom and I did together...she would help me pick out the right valentine for each person in my class and then "the box" oh my we would spend hours and hours decorating it and mine of course was always the BEST one teehee and what a treat today mom/dad called and asked if they could come by for coffee and what to my surprise she had made me a valentine's box to keep's so beautiful and filled with old fashioned tea cakes...truly the bestesst treasure ever....
