"My" Queen Anne Doll is finished

Well she is for a challenge and I haven't painted her shoes but besides that she is finished rofl...what fun so totally different then my norm...

well i'm working on several things...sometimes i think i'm way too weird...well my new piece is a 31 inch doll i think it's like queen ann meets goth how scary is that there is a queen ann challenge on a doll group i belong to...wellllllllllllll for what ever reason she is way tall and strange her is her head, no the pins are not part of her finish look only holding thing to dry rofl oh my

Homeless shelter auction tomorrow

My homeless child is finished and his name is Benji he is one of a kind, cloth body with cloth over clay face...his clothing is made from recycled clothing...sitting he is about 16" from table top to top of his wall...

A Kokeshi doll swap

On a group we are doing a kokeshi doll trade and here is my little one sure are fun to make

Well I finally finished my center piece for CIFI the theme is twisted desserts well something like that and so here is Peppermint Patti Cake
oh my it was a struggle...I don't do themes much as it puts pressure on the old brain rofl

Olli has hair

i'm getting so excited she has her hair no on to the body wohooo

she has a name and ears rofl

Well Mom has named her Ollie and she does look like one to me teehee...I got her face painted and ears sculpted...now to get on with her body...

Wip progress using my mom's new sclupt wohoo

working on a new doll...mom made a sculpt and it is now a pressmold.i love when she does a new sculpt, since she doesn't sculpt eyes it makes for such a universal pressmold. i'm using Jacque's (mom) pressmold to create a body/costuming pattern.head is ready to paint...she needs to name it rofl always fun to work with her....it's a big girl head is like 4 1/2" and a child....here email is j_uetzrags@yahoo.com

what i'm working on

I went with Mary Whitehead to the homeless shelter in M'town and met with a family and I am to make an art piece inspired by the experience for an auction at the end of May...proceeds to go to the Homeless...so I have sat and thought and I realized that the true victims of the homeless is the children...my heart went out to the family and children...so here is the beginning of my little one...

Matt and Chel's rehearsal Dinner

Woohoo success... rehearsal dinner is over and today is the wedding...so here are a few pics of the beginning of the two day adventure....

Oh my where does the time go...well I'm on the down swing now...i need to take in Lil Scarlett's flower dress since she is so thin...finished the cupcake rack tonight...it will have strawberries and grapes in top container and nestled in between cupcakes...i think all rehearsal dinner things are done...I made a burnout silk velvet duster to wear over a simple wine colored dress...i will take more pics and post them of rehearsal dinner and wedding reception...only 5 days...all the guys go tomorrow to have the last fitting of their tuxes...I'm excited I've never seen all my guys in tuxes wohoo...
