wow the last couple of weeks oh my

Well i went to houston and took the most amazing class with marlaine and ankie omg amazing truly...then got home with horrid allergies rofl then mother law fell and broke her hip...she had surgery on sat...is doing great and i just finished my part of a 3 part online class with Jean Bernard and Sprite...I did the doll...jean did the boat and harp and seat and i can't wait to get sprites part it is a cage and dragon for the back of the boat...omg can you imagine and it has optic lights by jean of course...her is my part...

Tree Sculpt WIP

Well I've been zoning for a few days on my new sculpt it's a tree woman...not sure where she came from except that I found a wonderful wood knot in the pile of woods the boys brought in for the furnace well and here she is...

Dotee Doll

Well I'm still not really sure what a Dotee doll is but I'm doing a swap on Doll Street Dreamers and this is the rules
1. The Dotee must have a fabric body, a hanging loop, and a 'tail'.
2. Make one to three dolls to trade.
3. Make the doll body between 3" and 6" long. No clay faces this time!
so I went to google...looked up dotee doll and tada this is mine rofl
it was fun and certainly different lol

Meet baby lolli our australian fairy...she is 3rd in the sweet treat series of patterns...she is preemie size...still no truffles but I just know there will be one rofl

Well I finally got to paint the toadstools today...so now I need small details on the little Hobbit and he says he needs a friend...so now to ponder that one...oh no...more paperclay teehee

Well he got a hair cut and some clothes...he is a hobbit...he got hair on his feet too...several have said it's like my old days...guess he is only 1/2 the size...this piece is about 11"...thank you for all your kind kudos and yepper he is a one of a kind...I'm planning on doing ODACA Days this year...it's been a while so hopefully if all goes well I will have a table full....

UFO to WIP oh my

I belong to a small group who has a challenge to finish some of the UFO's all tho I have baskets of parts at the farm I did bring a few with me and of course have started a few also...this is a little head I started last year...go busy and struggled with it as it said boy...I have a hard time making boy dolls so with the challenge I took him on...and yepper he is for sure a boy and now I'm obsessing...all tho he is in cloth and paperclay and the toadstools are paperclay which means drying time...oh how I hate drying time...but I still have zoned for the entire weekend...what fun...it's been a while since I have done a one of a kind piece...so here is my wip...

As yall know Jean and I are working on a piece together to kick off her new online class place...well I have posted the doll but we have been only giving clues on what Jean's part is...wellllllll I have to tell you it's a water vessel and more...where do the great minds come in...well I got my new Doll Crafter today and Anne Wahl has a paperclay boat...NOW who would think but like i said GREAT MINDS THINK A LIKE...just had to share what a hoot...and can't wait to see Jean's finished...yall know she is the queen glitz...here is some sneek peeks...OH My

Martha I'm NOT...

Okay yall truly there is NO hope for me...welllllllllllllllllll okay mom has been making those pigs in a blanket...soooo okay i'm gonna make those today...well i bought my rolls, brauts and this morning, i realized i had bought loafs not rolls....so i can just cut them in 4's i think....I wrap the cooked brauts...they are now rising welllllllllllllllllllll they are rising like huge...i have one of those BIG pans like the schools have and they are coming OUT on the sides...jeff made side boards with forks and I'm baking them he said we have pigs in a matress rofl...I have laughed til my sides hurt....they did stop once in the oven...and I have lots of bread and the brauts is lost...omg truly I'm ont martha

She has hair...I'm so excited...now to set back and figure out her costuming...

Where does the days go...

Well I missed last week photos of the week...between everyone being sick and zoning on a new piece...Jean and I are working on a new online class it will be 4 classes to complete the entire piece...my doll is cloth with mask...she is needled sculpted then added paperclay over the cloth here and there to give her a nice finish...can you feel the music...that is the first hint on what jean might be doing...and here is the doll 16" and still needs hair...

first one was Jelly Bean the Confection fairy...this is Butterscotch the cookie fairy and then one more in the works...

Well Chelsea stopped by walmart before coming out and got my machine needles wohooo so Butterscotch has her clothing...all I need to do is her wings tomorrow and her cookies and finish writing up the pattern...wohooo

Well I thought I was making Jelly Bean's best friend Truffles...but this is not her...lol I'm not sure who she is just yet...but she is the next in line for my new series of fairy patterns...yes a bunny fairy...what sweet treat do you think she is?
