Join me in a new adventure...lets create a Trapunto face...
Class 2 watercoloring a Trapunto Face 15.00 (you tell me when do this one)
If you want to learn to use watercolor pencils on Trapunto then this is a great way to finish off the doll face learned in the first class....
then if they would like a body for that face they can get the body pattern for 5.00 plus shipping....
As many of my friends know I'm working on book two...Seven Virtues....the book will be one pattern...illusions of costuming and how to alter the one pattern into seven dolls...there will be a pressmold named virtue that I will use and also there will be a flat face pattern for those who don't like pressmolds...so I would like you to meet Virtue the beginning...the first doll will be Faith...what's a better way to start a project but with Faith....

Well it's that time of the year...I don't cook much as many of you know...but the family sure loves when I make Snickerdoodles...and I'm making 3 dozen tonight...
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup sugar (white)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 beaten egg
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
Sift together first 4 dry ingredients. Add in the butter, 3/4 cup sugar and vanilla. Mix. Beat in the egg.
In samll bowl, mix the 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon. Roll dough into balls (size of your choice.
I go for ping pong ball sized) and roll them in the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Bake at 400 degrees F. for about 8 minutes. Cool on a rack. -
